Gymnastics Party

With A.J. in school now, it seems like we are at a birthday party every week! This time, we went to his classmate, Grace's party. It was at the gymnastics center. The kids had so much fun going through the obstacle course, balancing on the beam, playing in the pit, running and jumping on the trampoline, and on and on. A.J. said his favorite parts were the parachute and the birthday cake (he must get that from me)!

Everyone who knows Isaac knows that the boy loves his food!!! One day, I fixed the boys some ravioli, put Isaac's on his tray, turned my back for a minute, and this is what I found...

Campout

Andy and A.J. were supposed to go camping with some friends over the weekend...unfortunately, Owen got sick. So being the good sport he is, Andy set up the tent in the backyard. The two guys roasted hot dogs and made smores', and then set out to camp overnight. About 1 in the morning, I heard them come inside...Andy said A.J. was freezing. It's a good thing they came in when they did, as it started raining, and everything was soaked in the morning. It was a valiant effort though :-)

Party, Party, Party!!!

Today, we went to a birthday party for one of A.J.'s soccer teammates, Erin. It was at a local park, and let me tell you, there's nothing like an outdoor party in the middle of January!!! All the kids had a great time playing!

On Friday, most of A.J.'s preschool class got together and went to Disney on Ice. It was fun to see him with all his friends. They all got so excited for the show and were singing and dancing! It even kept Isaac's attention...for a while!

Illinois Vacation

For the past two weeks, we have been vacationing back where Andy and I grew up...good ol' Illinois! We had a great time visiting with family and friends, got in a couple of girls' nights and guys' nights, and even had a great date night (Andy booked a room at the Embassy Suites and took me out to dinner for my birthday)! This was the first time A.J. actually played in the snow and had a great time doing so...his first snowball hit me right in the face and stuck between my eye and my glasses (didn't take him long)! We all had fun, but are glad to be back home in Arizona...there's no place like home!
