Friday Play Date

On Friday, my friend was having eye surgery, so I volunteered to keep her son for the morning.  Isaac and T. are the same age, have the same hair and skin coloring, act the same...it's a little eerie at times!  I took the boys to the bouncy houses so they could burn off some energy.  Then we refueled at McDonald's...Isaac loves his new friend!

Baseball

A.J. is having a lot more fun this year with baseball.  He has been hitting the ball pretty well.  It helps that the rookie league is 4-6 year olds, so he is one of the older kids on the team...it makes him feel like he is finally one of the better players!

Baseball Opening Ceremonies

Saturday was opening day for Chandler Youth Baseball.  During the spring season, the league celebrated with opening day ceremonies.  The day started off with a parade for all the kids.  They made their way to the baseball diamonds, where they had raffles, bouncy houses, climbing walls, throw-a-pie-at-your-coach, and tons of food.  It was a neat experience for all of the players!

Spring Break--Disneyland

During spring break, we surprised the boys by taking them to Disneyland.  When we first told them we were going, A.J. jumped up and gave Andy the biggest hug...definitely worth every penny!  The boys had so much fun.  They opened the park every morning and practically closed the park every night! Definitely one of the "Happiest Places on Earth"!!!

New Friends

We have got a couple of new families here in the Cat district...one family has a 6-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, perfect for our 6 & 3-year olds!!!  On Friday, we went to the park, and then went to eat at Joe's Farm Grill...mmmm!  Isaac and T. are definitely two peas-in-a-pod!

The Cubs

On Thursday, I took the boys to see the Cubs in a spring training game.  The boys loved eating the hot dogs, peanuts, and snow cones, and had fun watching the game too.  A.J. was pumped to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"! In typical Cubs fashion, they were down 0-11 when we left after the 7th inning, but if they had to lose, at least it was to the AZ Diamondbacks!!!
