Christmas Vacation

So, Thursday we got an early start to the day. We woke up early, got ready, and drove to the airport for our 8:20 flight. Little did we know, our flight would be delayed 3 hours!!! The plane that we were supposed to fly on was coming in from Las Vegas...who just happened to have a snow storm the night before. Who would have thought our flight out of Phoenix in the middle of the desert would be delayed due to snow!!! Our plane finally arrived, we boarded, and headed toward IL. Both boys did exceptionally well on the flight, despite the delay. Grandma and Grandpa Davis picked us up at the airport and were quite excited to meet Isaac for the first time. We made the 3-hour trek back to our hometown through an ice storm. We had to stop a couple of times to scrape the ice off of the windshield and break the ice off of the wipers, but we finally made it!!!
