Open for the Season!!!

The pool is finally open for the season!!! It has been in the 100's here this week...finally hot enough to warm up the pool! We had some friends over yesterday and the boys had a great time swimming. It was very impromptu, so none of us ladies had our suits (not that we are thrilled to don them anyway). We were going to swim last night, but there was a palm-tree-grove fire about 1 mile northwest of our house, and the pool was covered with ashes. Today, A.J. begged all day to go swimming again, so we all got our suits on and jumped in! I wasn't sure how Isaac would be in the water, but he LOVED it!!! He kept kicking and hitting the water with his hands to make splashes. A.J. put on his life jacket and finally realized he could swim by himself with it on (last year, he still clung to Andy or me). That boy is like a fish! He was swimming laps across the pool...even shooting hoops! This should be a fun pool season!
